1. Identity and scope
This Website Use Policy / Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to, browsing of, and use of the website www.mexibuilding.com (the "Website"), through which information is provided regarding "Megaro Mexi / Mexi Building", an office building located at 5 Chatzigianni Mexi Street, Postal Code 115 28, Athens, as well as information on access, visitors, contact details, frequently asked questions, and career opportunities. The Website is operated by BUILDING MANAGEMENT (the "Operator"), with the following contact details: 5 Chatzigianni Mexi Street, 115 28 Athens, email: office@mexi.gr, telephone: +30 210 7209750.

2. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Website, the user declares that they have read, understood, and unreservedly accepted these Terms. If the user does not agree with them, they must refrain from using the Website.

3. Purpose of the Website and non-contractual nature
The Website is primarily informational in nature. Unless expressly stated otherwise, its content does not constitute an offer, acceptance of an offer, conclusion of a contract, provision of legal, immigration, consular, or other professional advice, nor any guarantee of availability of access to the building, an appointment, a service, or a job position.
The sending of a message through the Website or to the stated email address does not constitute valid service, extrajudicial notice, submission of a request subject to a binding legal deadline, or acceptance of a contractual relationship, unless this is expressly and explicitly accepted in writing by the Operator.

4. Permitted use
The user must use the Website lawfully, in good faith, and in accordance with accepted standards of conduct. Use is permitted only for personal or professional information purposes, lawful communication with the Operator, and, where such functionality is provided, lawful expression of interest in a job position.
The user must provide accurate, true, and up-to-date information when completing forms or sending communications through the Website.

5. Prohibited use
In particular, the following are prohibited:

  • use of the Website for any unlawful, abusive, misleading, or defamatory purpose,

  • breaching or attempting to breach the security, integrity, or functionality of the Website,

  • introducing malware, viruses, scripts, bots, or any other harmful code,

  • unauthorised collection, extraction, reproduction, or mass copying of content or contact details,

  • use of the published contact details for sending unsolicited commercial communications, spam, or other unauthorised promotional material,

  • submission of false, inaccurate, or misleading information,

  • impersonation or false representation of an association with Megaro Mexi, the Operator, or hosted organisations.

The Operator reserves the right to restrict or terminate the access of any user who violates these Terms, without prejudice to any other legal right available to it.

6. Information on hosted organisations, embassies, and third-party entities
The Website may include information on organisations housed in the building, including embassies, as well as opening hours, contact details, access instructions, or references relating to visa matters, consular services, asylum, or other third-party services. Such content is provided solely for the user's general convenience and may be changed without prior notice. The user must verify any such information directly with the competent organisation or through its official source. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Operator does not represent nor act on behalf of the above entities.

7. Building visits and security rules
The Website may provide general guidance regarding access to the building and the visitor entry process. Actual entry to and presence within the building shall at all times be governed by the security and operational rules of Megaro Mexi in force from time to time, as applied by reception, security staff, or management. By way of example, presentation of an identity card or passport and issuance and visible display of a temporary badge may be required, while appointments must be arranged directly with the organisation the user intends to visit. The Operator may modify entry procedures or restrict access for reasons of security, compliance, or operational necessity.

8. Communication through the Website
The Website provides contact details and an electronic contact form for general enquiries. The user must submit only lawful and appropriate content and must not send, through the form or the stated email address, sensitive personal data, confidential information, or third-party data, unless this is strictly necessary and permitted by law.
Communication through the Website is not suitable for urgent matters. For matters requiring immediate attention or relating to security, the user must use the telephone contact details stated on the Website. The Operator does not guarantee any specific response time nor any obligation to reply to every message.

9. Job positions and submission of applications
The Website may publish available job positions and may accept applications either directly or through an external service/platform. Submission of an application or expression of interest does not create any entitlement to employment, an invitation to interview, or conclusion of an employment contract. The Operator reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw any job posting at any time.
The applicant must provide accurate and lawful information and must not submit data that are not necessary for the assessment of their application. Applicants' data are used exclusively for the purposes of the recruitment process, compliance with the law, and the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, in accordance with the Privacy Policy / Candidate Privacy Notice, which should be available on the Website.

10. Third-party links and services
The Website may include references or links to embassy websites, public authorities, social media, map services, or external application platforms/forms. Such websites and services operate independently from the Operator and are governed by their own terms of use, privacy policies, and security practices. The Operator bears no responsibility for the content, availability, accuracy, or lawfulness of such third-party services.

11. Intellectual and industrial property rights
All content of the Website, including, indicatively, texts, logos, distinctive features, images, photographs, graphics, audiovisual material, structure, layout, design, and databases, is subject to intellectual and/or industrial property rights of the Operator or of third parties who have granted the relevant licence.
Without the prior written permission of the rights holder, any total or partial reproduction, distribution, modification, storage, public presentation, commercial exploitation, or use in any manner whatsoever of the content is prohibited, beyond simple personal browsing and lawful information use. Third-party trademarks and trade names belong to their respective rights holders.

12. Availability and technical operation
The Operator makes reasonable efforts to maintain the smooth, secure, and uninterrupted operation of the Website. However, it does not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from malicious elements.
The Operator may at any time modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or part of the Website for reasons of maintenance, security, upgrade, compliance, or force majeure.

13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damage, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or any other damage arising out of or in connection with access to, use of, or inability to use the Website.
The Operator shall not be liable for any decisions or actions of the user based on information contained on the Website without prior independent verification from the competent body or official source. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Personal data and cookies
The processing of personal data that may be collected through the Website, including contact data and job applicant data, must be carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, in particular the GDPR, Law 3471/2006 as the more specific law regarding electronic communications/cookies, and the provisions of Law 4624/2019, as applicable. The specific processing terms, purposes, legal bases, retention periods, recipients, and data subject rights must be described in detail in a separate Privacy Policy, Candidate Privacy Notice, and Cookie Policy.
The use of non-essential cookies or similar technologies, including third-party analytics cookies, is permitted only following prior clear information and, where required, the user's valid consent.

15. Amendments to the Terms
The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version in force from time to time shall be posted on the Website together with the relevant date of last update and shall become effective upon publication, unless otherwise stated.

16. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with their interpretation or application shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, unless otherwise provided by mandatory provisions of law.

17. Severability and language
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, voidable, or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
In the event of translation of these Terms into another language, the Greek version shall prevail, unless expressly stated otherwise.

18. Contact
For any matter relating to these Terms, the user may contact the Operator using the details stated on the Website and, in particular, at the email address office@mexi.gr and the telephone number +30 210 7209750, until the full corporate details of the operating entity are completed and published.
